Manufacturer History

The Locanda La Posta has been in existence since the beginning of the 17th century. In 1804, Mr Vassalli, an Italian abbot and very important scientist, came to Cavour with the new instrument he had invented to measure the height of the Rocca hill, which is very close to the Locanda. During the centuries, the Genovesio family has given hospitaliy to many famous characters from the field of politics, economics and entertainment. Recipes and secrets are passed down from generation to generation to preserve the ancient tastes.
