The ultimate symbol of the Valpolicella area's winemaking excellence, Amarone is produced by letting the grapes start to dry, so that they finish fermenting their sugars. Thanks to Amarone's particular characteristics, it acquires a full body and high alcohol, making it capable of benefitting from long aging periods.

In the wineglass it glows in a proud ruby red body with glimmers of purple. Refined and intense on the nose, with resolute sensations of ripe cherry and plum. Complex and velvety on the palate, densely textured, with subtle raisin-like flavours. Alcohol 15% vol.

Savour it enhancing and enhanced by main course meats, especially game, or well-matured cheeses. After lengthy aging it will speak for itself, in splendid isolation.
