Martin is made from Timorasso grapes, an ancient Piedmont vine typical of the Tortona area. It has been described as the best Italian white wine in terms of aromatic intensity and structural elegance, qualities derived from its aging in barriques of French oak.

Golden yellow in colour, on the nose it exhales forceful and almost feminine aromas: elderflower, talcum, almond, pear and vanilla. Concentrated and dry on the palate, spicy, with a bread crust finale. Alcohol: 14%.

Excels above all in accompanying risottos.

Manufacturer History

Franco M. Martinetti has been producing quality wines since1974, the year in which he added winemaking activities to his career in advertising. To this second career he brought an obsessive attention to detail and a desire to create wines with truly exceptional characteristics, capable of exciting unexpectedly extreme emotion through their perfumes and tastes. Martinetti wines have succeeded in embodying an authentic interpretation of Piedmont's soul, and in satisfying the most demanding international palates. Having won countless awards and honours, and produced labels on the wine lists of the world's best restaurants, Franco Martinetti is also the only Italian member of the Académie du Vin de France, as well as being President of the Académie Internationale du Vin. As well as a winemaker, in other words, he is also a wine sage who has raised the horizons of this drink as goals in the quest for perfection.
