Nes is a dessert wine made from Moscato di Alessandria (aka Zibibbo) grapes matured on the very Mediterranean island of Pantelleria, in the province of Trapani.

A deep golden yellow with muted amber tints, it unveils intense and persistent fragrances of dry figs, apricot and apple. Notably persistent on the palate, and smoothly harmonic. Alcohol: 14.5% vol.

At its best drunk with baked desserts, but also outstanding with spicy cheeses.

Manufacturer History

Cantine Pellegrino was founded in 1880 by a family of notaries with a passion for wine, and rapidly established itself as one of the leading winemakers in the Marsala area of Sicily, a status it has maintained and enhanced to the present day. The Pellegrino family have continued to play a fundamental role in the company, and each successive generation has committed itself to carrying forward the heritage of perfumes, tastes and excellence that has always distinguished Pellegrino wines. The focal point of the company's strengths is its land: Pellegrino owns 150 hectares of highly varied terrains in Western Sicily, where differing virtues of climate, soil and grape variety guarantee a wide range of superb wines.
