Born in the Frescobaldi Estate of Castello di Nipozzano, in the heart of the Chianti Rufina area, this Nipozzano Riserva has been made by the Frescobaldi family since 1864. Its decisive personality and noble quality have made it famous and deeply appreciated all over the world.

To the eye it offers a fine ruby red body with purple highlights. On the nose it offers astonishing aromatic clarity, with focused red fruit perfumes blended with violet and liquorice, closing with spicier suggestions. Freshly pleasurable on the palate, where it develops its olfactory prelude. Alcohol 13.5% vol.

Intensely effective with grilled red meats or roast lamb, it can also shine with and embellish mildly matured Tuscan pecorino cheese.
