Sharis, a white obtained from Chardonnay and Ribolla Gialla grapes, is often considered – on account of this varietal blend – a product that unites Friuli tradition with the rest of the world.

A bright canary yellow in colour, with glints of gold, on the nose it is intense and engaging, emanating dominant notes of lemon, peppermint, pittosporum and cherry, with a fine spicy finale. On the palate what emerges is green apple, ginger and kiwi, a corroborating modulation underlined by excellent acidity. Alcohol: 12.5% vol.

Aristocratic accompaniment for vegetables, soups and marinated fish, but also sublime as an aperitif.

Manufacturer History

The story of the Felluga winemaking company is deeply rooted in the earth, the people and the values of the Friuli region in north-eastern Italy. The secret of the company's success lies in the tenacity and winemaking passion of Livio Felluga, the man who founded it. Today the company has vineyards in the Collio area and in the Western Hills of Friuli, both districts which Livio Felluga worked laboriously to resuscitate after World War II, driven by his awareness that the pursuit of quality was the only way to revive a devastated territory. This process was facilitated by the innovative ideas and methods Livio Felluga applied... thanks to which he is today considered the refounding spirit of Friuli's winemaking tradition. The deep relationship with territorial identity is instantly visible in the company's wine labels which feature the so-called carta geografica, reproducing an ancient map of the land where these superb wines originate.
