In 2000, Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow noted that good quality alcoholic drinks were often paired with chemical additives and preservatives in cocktails and long drinks. So they decided to start afresh, creating a different kind of soft drink using only natural ingredients. And that's how Fever-Tree – named after the common name for the Chincona tree, where the main ingredient of tonic water comes from – came to be formed in 2005. Fever-Tree uses no sweeteners, preservatives or flavourings and its highly original range of products has won over the best barmen, starred chefs and managers in the most famous hotels in the world.
